Born near Seattle, Washington,
Sally Garl Poole fell in love with paint in Kindergarten. She has been painting seriously in high school. She began her career studying commercial art and illustration. Sally has studied with some really great artists, including Josie Van Gent Edell of South Carolina and has attended workshops throughout the country.

She is also the owner of Poole
Advertising LLC, a full service advertising agency in Hannibal, Missouri. Started in 1984, Poole Advertising specializes in
graphic design, web, television, radio, marketing and public relations.

Sally has exhibited paintings throughout the United States. She has received numerous awards for her work. One person art exhibitions have been held in Idaho Falls, ID; Atlanta, GA; Hannibal and Columbia, MO; Summerville, SC; Jacksonville and Quincy, IL. Her portraits are in the collection of Pioneer Seed Company, numerous banks and individual homes across the country.
