S J POOLE

On the floor I am more at ease. I feel nearer, more a part of the painting, since this way
I can walk around it, work from the four sides and literally be in the painting.

The country side around is rich with haybales in the summer. They remind me of security and safety. Food for the coming winter - and I just can't paint them enough. The blues and golds are so alive. Often hawks sit on the bales.
